Exams, exams, exams ……. What is this? Why do our students are afraid of exams?
It is necessary for everyone who want to get respect in society, to aware himself of education. Because it is education which brings wisdom and prosperity to the man, which brings him to the right way of life, away from evil. It is reality that all those nations were strong and powerful during their times and ruled over the world, who had good education system for their people. This educational process was not done through educational institutes but the basic purposes was to aware people and they done it in different ways. They do not have any defined syllabus, they do not have any specific time for their classes and even they do not have any fear of exams. The only purposes was to get awareness of right and wrong and they got it.
By the passage of time, as man starts progressing and he involves himself in worldly affairs. He is a busy man now and he wants a schedule for his life even for education, he was given a defined course, a time schedule and institutes. And now the purpose of his education is not to get awareness of right and wrong. Instead of this the man of this time is materialistic, he wants to get job through his education. This job demands good grades in exams, without good grades your education is meaningless for you (according to this time).
To gain good grades in exams is the fear of modern students. His society has given him the lesson that your good grades are everything for you. You can get a good job if you have degree with good grades. For this purpose, our students give their extra time to studies, instead of understanding things, to learn the difference between good and evil. Students only cram the books. This process not brings even a little awareness to them. And because of extra work, which they have done, sometimes it’s brings psychological problem to them. And sometimes after this hard working, if they are fail they try to attempt suicide.
This kind of educational proses cannot bring honor and prosperity to society. This is only a way to waste time and wealth. In this era, if we want to progress or we want prosperity, we have to change our thinking. We have to keep our students from this fear of exams. Again we have to get education for awareness (to know the difference between wrong and right). Otherwise this fear will remain in our coming generations.
